"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me [...] Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." Matthew 25:35-36, 40b |

Christ Church in Columbia brought the Christian Care foundation for Children with Disablitlies in Thailand's work to the committee. We will support their education and rehabitation care with a grant of $8375 in 2011. This grant will fund one teacher and one physical therapist for a year. Ghanian Mothers' Hope build St. Paul's primay school with a grant from UTO. The grant covered construction of the school but not toilet facilities. The 2011 grant of $3000 will enable the construction of toilet facilities for the 325 children attending the school. We urge every person and congregation in the diocese to support these projects, both by remembering them in prayer and with financial contributions. Money can be sent to the diocese, marked Globabl Mission/MDG on the memo line, or directly to any of the sponsoring churches.
